Description 

Purple Oud takes oud out of the shadows and gives it brightness. Sweet orange opens the fragrance with a vivid citrus flash, immediately making the composition feel more energetic than a traditional dark oud.

Pink pepper and saffron follow, adding heat, dryness and a subtly leathery spice. Beneath them sits the oud itself—deep and commanding, but deliberately polished by the brighter ingredients surrounding it. The tension between citrus, spice and dark wood is what gives Purple Oud its personality: bold without feeling dense, exotic without becoming overly heavy, and striking from the first spray through to the dry-down. Dior identifies sweet orange, pink pepper, saffron and oud as the fragrance’s defining materials.
